Greyhound Rescue Centres near Edinburgh
The greyhounds that I had the pleasure of working with while completing my two years of study, led me to understand what beautiful gentle souls greyhounds are. Rehoming Retired Greyhounds Edinburgh is an established Scottish Charity dedicated to finding homes for retired racing greyhounds. They are a great place to start if you are looking to adopt, or to find out more about the greyhound breed!

Group Dog Walks
If you'd like to meet up with other dog lovers for a relaxed friendly group walk, then check out Lothian based Wander Dog. Walks are held between four and six times a year at different locations across Edinburgh and the Lothians. Everyone is welcome. All walks are posted on their Facebook page.

Harnesses
A good harness should be secure but not restrictive. No matter what style of harness you choose for your dog, their shoulder should be able to move freely. Dogs are like us, they're all different. So, if you are looking for a harness that fits your dog perfectly, it will likely need to be made to measure. My dog's wear harnesses by Jen's Doggy Bits. I've found them to be good quality, secure, and reasonably priced.
